Red Bull has the slowest car on the straights all

Red Bull on the straights suffer this season, especially in pure speed circuits like Monza. Has revealed the magazine Auto Motor und Sport, the new car RB9 energy of the team is the slowest car on the grid on the straights.

Top speed in the last two days of workouts Montmeló, the most important of the season, was only 307.7 km / h, the car far more tip that, surprisingly, was a Marussia to reach 320.5 km / h.

In contrast, the new Ferrari F138 is one of the fastest cars in line with the second highest top speed in Montmelo, the same as the Sauber, Ferrari-engined two cars (316.7 km7h). McLaren, Lotus and Mercedes would also behind Ferrari. Here's the chart with the highest speeds:

Marussia - 320.5 km / h
Ferrari - 316.7 km / h
Sauber - 316.7 km / h
Force India - 316.7 km / h
McLaren - 315.8 km / h
Lotus - 314.9 km / h
Mercedes - 314.9 km / h
Toro Rosso - 311.2 km / h
Williams - 311.2 km / h
Red Bull - 307.7 km / h
Many will say, rightly, that last year the Red Bull also suffered a noticeable lack of speed on the straights. True, but compensated with a crushing superiority in cornering, an advantage that this year seems to have decreased.

If Red Bull is reduced its hegemony in the curves (where races are won), maybe I missed more than ever the top speed on the straights.

PD. Among the tifosi and the straights of Monza, the Italian Grand Prix could be another ordeal for energy cars as it was in 2012 ...
